Are you looking for some easy and budget-friendly ideas to add a little spooky Halloween flair to your home this Fall season? Well, you've found the right place. All you need is a glue gun and a few items from the dollar store to create spooktacular Halloween home decor.
Before we start these adorable Halloween crafts, I must ask, "Do you know that God loves you, Boo?"
This site is all about sharing transparent stories of beautifully redeemed souls that will take you from hopeless to hope-filled on your journey of faith. Your relationship with Jesus Christ should be the most important one in your life. Jesus is the only way to live a fulfilled life. No earthly treasure (or amazing crafting) will complete your soul like Christ. I hope you will take a few minutes to read a couple of devotionals or browse some Christian inspiration articles.
If you are in a season of significant life changes this Fall, I hope you will find comfort and hope in my new devotional, "Embracing Change This Fall."
Now, Girl, run to the dollar store and get your glue gun; let's go!
Black Lace Lampshade Covers
Halloween crafts are some of my favorites to create. I found these lace table runners at the Dollar Tree and knew they would work perfectly for lampshade covers. I attached these with tiny clips to the bars of the lampshades. Alternatively, you can measure the amount you need by wrapping the lace runner around the shade, cutting, and then gluing the ends together. Ensure there is enough wiggle room to slide the runner over the shade. As a precaution, don't let the runner touch the lightbulb. I love how they turned out!

Spider or Bats Magnets
Why not decorate the refrigerator as well? I've decorated just about every other surface in our house, according to my husband. All you need is a pack of small magnets and some dollar store spiders or bats. Ensure you add plenty of glue to lift the magnet above the spider's legs. I also gently bent the spider's legs back a bit. My kids love the trail of glittery spiders on our fridge.

Skull Candy Dish
I grabbed this cute plastic spider web bowl and golden skull head from the Dollar Tree. First, you need to add weight to the skull head. I cut a hole in the bottom with the drill, filled it with rocks, and glued the piece back on. An easier alternative is to pick up a plastic charger at the dollar store and glue it to the bottom of the skull head. Then, hot glue the bowl to the top of the skull head. Perfect for candy or chips. Add a napkin to the bowl before filling it with chips or other unwrapped food. Isn't it classy for a dollar store find?

Bat & Spider Clips
Can you tell I love [FAKE] spiders and bats? Definitely, not the real ones.
One of the easiest ways to transition your everyday home decor into a seasonal masterpiece is by adding cute, festive dollar store pieces to it. I just grabbed some small clips (alligator clips work best) and Halloween spiders from the dollar store and got to gluing. They clip well to lamp shades and floral stems.

Boho Ghosts
My children love to decorate their rooms during the holiday seasons, and I don't mind because it gives us an excuse to do some much-needed deep cleaning. I always pray for some patience, leave my perfectionism at the door, and let my kiddos lead the decorating project. This year, my oldest son and I found a way to repurpose his trophies and star stands to create some boho chic ghosts out of old pillowcases, ribbon, and Styrofoam balls. We simply slid the foam craft balls, found at the dollar store, over the tops of the trophies and metal star decor, then added fabric, ribbon, and eyes using a Sharpie. Then we lit them up with Dollar Tree fairy lights found in the seasonal aisle. The imperfections give them a perfect folk artsy look. Not having to store some of his regular decor was a bonus as well. I also printed some spooky vintage photos from Canva to fill the frames already on his dresser.
